The EV3 Software supports English, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Japanese characters. These can be used to name files, label loops, add comments, and so on.
The EV3 Brick Display only supports Simple Text.

The EV3 Brick displays blanks when Simple Text fields contain characters other than Simple Text. However, the characters will be shown correctly on the connected computer.
